Beate is an Associate in the Banking team. She advises a wide range of borrowers and lenders on Scottish, UK and cross-border financing transactions (including corporate borrowers, banks, funds, investors, and other lenders).

Her experience includes real estate finance (investment and development), corporate lending, acquisition finance, asset-based lending, securitisation, debt trading, debt portfolio transfers, loan note and bond issues, and restructuring.

Beate has a lot of experience working alongside City and overseas firms in banking and funds finance transactions and on the use of Scottish limited partnerships in private fund structures (including the establishment, operation, closings, and dissolution of funds).

Chris is a Partner in the Banking team.

He leads the Scottish Banking team which covers real estate finance (investment and development), corporate lending, acquisition finance, asset-based lending, securitisation, debt trading, debt portfolio transfers, loan note and bond issues and restructuring.

Chris advises on Scottish and English deals and is a cross-border financing specialist.

He has over 20 years of experience acting for borrowers and lenders (including clearing banks, investment banks, investment funds, insurance companies and public sector bodies). 

Dan advises clients on a wide range of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Key areas of expertise include:

• Worker and employment status cases, including defending clients from group litigation and assessing the risks in their workforce
• Sensitive disability discrimination cases involving neurodiversity and mental health conditions
• The drafting and enforcement of restrictive covenants
• Supporting the firm's commercial department on the employment aspects of outsourcing work.

Emma joined Bond Dickinson in August 2016. She has over 30 years' experience of specialising in financial services regulation. Emma is the Practice Development Lawyer for the Financial Institutions Sector and advises UK and international clients on compliance with all aspects of financial regulation and prevention of financial crime.

Gearalt is a recognised expert in employment law and an experienced litigator. For over 20 years, he has advised employers across the UK on complex and strategic legal work, with a client portfolio spanning a range of sectors including energy, construction, retail, charities and manufacturing.

Gearalt has a strong track record advising the full spectrum businesses from large PLCs and FTSE-listed clients through to SMEs, owner-managed businesses and charitable organisations.

Gearalt leads the WBD Northern Employment team. Specialising in workplace change, he has significant expertise in devising and project managing solution-based support for employers.

Stephen is a partner specialising in commercial litigation. He leads the commercial litigation team in Bristol.

Stephen deals with complex, heavyweight disputes, based on giving clear, concise and commercial advice to our clients that adds real value to their businesses. He makes extensive use of ADR, mediation and creative fee structures (including the use of litigation funding, discounted Conditional Fee Agreements, ATE insurance and fixed fees) and sharing the litigation risk with our clients to set us apart from our competitors both nationally and in the City.

Stephen advises on contractual and corporate disputes. His experience includes supply chain disputes, IT disputes, breach of contract, breach of warranty claims, fraud, misrepresentation and advice on directors' duties. He also advises clients in situations involving breach of confidence and confidential information.
